SCRATCH NIGHTS
The DH Ensemble is passionate about providing opportunities for Deaf and hearing artists to develop new work which is accessible to Deaf and hearing audiences.
We have held a number of scratch night events at Genesis Cinema and Battersea Arts Centre aimed at bringing artists and audiences together. These are a platform for artists to show a short piece of material (around 10 minutes) to an audience and receive private written or BSL filmed feedback.
Past performers include Brian Duffy and Ace Mahbaz, Sophie Woolley, Tessa Parr, Charmaine Wombwell, Hermon Berhane, SignKid, Matthew Gurney and Adam Bassett and many more.
